A lane on the A2 near Canterbury will again be closed to allow for more litter clearing.
According to Highways England, a section of the eastbound carriageway will be shut for a period between now and Thursday.
The latest the lane between Dunkirk and Lydden will be closed is 3pm on Thursday.
It will allow for more clearing of the verges and follows work last week which saw Canterbury City Council leader Simon Cook join Serco employees to remove rubbish.
The council has responded to concerns raised about the amount of rubbish which has been allowed to accumulate along the A2.
