A 15-year-old boy was arrested after a report of a burglary at Canterbury’s Whitefriars shopping precinct.
He is alleged to have broken into a shed at the complex in the early hours of this (Tuesday) morning.
Police then arrested him by the St George’s Roundabout at 3.40am.

He was further arrested for shoplifting after a bottle of brandy said to have been taken from a store earlier in the day was found at the scene of the shed break-in.
The boy remains in custody.
