The Canterbury Journal is on the hunt for budding young journalists aged 16-24 based in the Canterbury district.
Three winning entries will be published in full on the website and the star entry will get their hands on a shiny new iPad.
Submissions must be related to Canterbury and be new original works solely by the author. The judges are looking for writing that captures the essence of the subject material and breathes life into the issue.
So if you think you’ve got what it takes to become the Journal’s newest young writer, get your creative groove on and let’s see what you’ve got!
Alex Claridge of the Canterbury Journal said: “This a fantastic opportunity to showcase some of the remarkable talent we have here in Canterbury, Whitstable, Herne Bay and the villages. Good luck to all the contestants – we look forward to reading your stories.”
