
Canterbury’s two Wetherspoons pubs will be holding a real ale cider festival this month.
The 12-day celebration will take place at The Thomas Ingoldsby in Burgate and The West Gate Inn in North Lane when drinkers will be able to choose from a selection of up to 20 beers from independent British craft brewers.
The beers include Blueberry Classic Bitter (Coach House), Jurassic Dark (Dorset), Jemima’s Pitchfork (Glamorgan), Freddy Brewger (Robinsons), Hope & Glory (Brentwood), Hop Twister (Salopian), Big Job (St Austell) and Wheel of Fortune (Castle Rock).
UK-produced ciders will include Toffee Apple (Mr Whitehead’s), Legbender (Rich’s) and Premium Perry (Broadoak).
The cider and real ale festival will run from Wednesday, October 10 to Sunday, October 21.
