A coach carrying 52 people entering Britain from France has crashed at the Eurotunnel terminal in Folkestone.
It hit the train it was exiting at just before noon yesterday (Tuesday).
Police inspected the vehicle and have reported the 37-year-old driver who will have to appear in court later.
The Kent Police Roads Policing Unit later tweeted: “EU coach loaded with 47 children & 5 teachers. Exiting Eurotunnel hit the side of the carriage.
“No injuries however multiple serious defects found as well as serious drivers hours offences.”
The driver will be summonsed for exceeding limits on driving hours and being behind the wheel of a defective vehicle. The coach has been prohibited from using the roads.
