Firefighters at Canterbury Fire Station are holding fun open day later this month.
It will feature displays and top tips from Kent Fire and Rescue Service plus other agencies to help keep people safe and well.
Visitors will be able to meet their local firefighters and see all the equipment they use to deal with a wide range of emergency incidents.
Children can also climb aboard the fire engine and have a go at knocking down pretend flames on mini-house fire.
Other agencies attending are the coastguard and lifeboat, the British Red Cross, the Highways Agency, the NHS and community support officers from Kent Police.
The open day takes place at the fire station in Upper Bridge Street from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, August 18. Entry is free.
