The hugely popular Canterbury Food and Drink Festival will be returning to the city for four more years.
Canterbury City Council has announced that it has awarded The Event Umbrella a new festival contract.
The authority’s community chairman Cllr Neil Baker said: “The Canterbury Food and Drink Festival is one of the highlights of the year and rounds off the summer in spectacular style.
“We’re delighted it will be taking its place in the events calendar for another four years.”
The contract was awarded following a competitive tender process.
Held over three days in the Dane John Gardens, the festival has become one of the city’s favourite annual events.
This year’s Canterbury Food and Drink Festival is from Friday, September 21 to Sunday, September 23.
