Man charged with serious offences of violence

A man from Herne Bay is due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court next month accused of serious offences of violence.

Anthony Ridge was arrested after a man suffered a serious injury during a disturbance in Herne Bay High Street on Sunday, July 9.

The 43-year-old of Charles Street appeared before magistrates in Thanet charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

He was released on bail to attend the Crown Court on Thursday, November 8.

    This poisonous scrote/borderline simpleton is no stranger to the courts after previously having caused a wounding on Sunday 9th July 2017 and then caused a disturbance in the Rose Inn pub on Mortimer Street in Herne Bay on New Year’s Eve 2017/18. Both when armed with a knife.
