Mutilated puppy found in wood

The golden retriever was stuffed in a bag

The mutilated body of a Golden Retriever puppy has been found in woodland at Bigbury Road in Chartham Hatch.

It had been cut open and had its entrails spilling out before being stuffed into a carrier bag.

The discovery was made by someone walking through the area at just before 4.30pm on Thursday, October 4.

Police say local officers attended and have carried out investigations to determine how the animal the received its injuries.
