Paul Hollywood’s 22-year-old girlfriend had dated an east Kent property tycoon before starting a relationship with the Great British Bake Star, it was reported over the weekend.
Hollywood, 52, who lives in Adisham, met Summer Monteys-Fullam at the Duke William pub in Ickham where she had worked as a barmaid.
But The Sun reports that she had been in a previous relationship with a 47-year-old east Kent property tycoon.
The newspaper said the relationship with the man from Folkestone lasted for two years.
A regular at the Duke William told The Sun: “There’s no doubt that Summer has a type.
“She has a taste for the finer things in life and it was not unusual for her to have her eye on a more mature man.”
Miss Monteys-Fullam had met the property tycoon at the Duke William in 2015, the newspaper added.
She started her relationship with Hollywood, who used to have a bakery at Aylesham, last year following the end of his 19-year marriage to wife Alexandra.
Last week she insisted her relationship with the baker had started after he and Alexandra had become estranged.
She added that she had no concerns about the 30-year age gap, adding: “I’m fine and I’m enjoying life.”
Earlier in the year, the pair had travelled to Mauritius together for a romantic break at a £1,000 a night villa.
It has also emerged that Hollywood is poised to make a return to US television screens as network broadcaster ABC considers a Christmas cooking show.
Cheshire-born Hollywood had previously appeared on The Great American Baking Show.
It was dropped following a sex scandal involving his co-star Johnny Iuzzini. The 43-year-old from New York has been accused of sexual harassment by four women.
