British Transport Police officers were called to a railway foot crossing in Canterbury after reports of a man near the line.
They were joined by Kent officers at the crossing which links Broad Oak Road with Kemsing Gardens on the Hales Place Estate yesterday (Sunday) afternoon.
The BTP said: “We attended after a report from a driver of a concern for a male loitering in the area.
