Police have today talked a woman down from a bridge in Canterbury.
Officers were called to the footbridge which crosses from the City Wall to Station Road East over Pin Hill to the train station at after 5pm.
Kent Police and officers from the British Transport Police attended the scene.
The BTP said: “We are near Canterbury East assisting with a female who wanted to jump off a footbridge.
“She has been safely removed from the bridge and is with us and will be getting the help she needs.”
