Fitzgerald Jeweller’s in Canterbury has won a major award for the design of its refurbishment of its premises.
The store’s team was presented with the Best New Store or Store Refurbishment of the Year award at the prestigious Professional Jeweller Awards earlier this month.
A spokesman for Fitzgerald said: “With its industrial botanical design, Fitzgerald Jewellers strives to make the experience of shopping in their store unlike any other jeweller in Kent.

“Setting themselves apart with their unique interior and laid back approach, a lot of care and attentions has gone into the design of the store, with the staff themselves designing the entire look, which showcases a contemporary collection of both jewellery and watches.”
Fitzgerald used only local tradesman in the refurbishment. Andrew Hudson from Hermetic Sign Co hand drew the gold leaf letters that are seen above the door, while TLC Decorating Services used Little Greene Paint Company to paint the frontage and walls. Mote Electricity installed the unique lighting across the store.
