
Two nights of music at Canterbury’s historic St Lawrence Ground will mean road closures on the days of concerts.
The cricket ground is hosting Swedish pop group A-ha and Orchestral Manoeuvers in the Dark on Thursday, June 7.
On Saturday, June 9, the ground will host Steps, Blue and Saara Aalto.

Both days will see road closures and no waiting restrictions in place.
The whole of St Lawrence Road will be closed between 9pm and 11.30pm on June 7 and June 9.

Nackington Road between Old Dover Road and the Foreland will be closed at the same times as will Old Dover Road between Ethelbert Road and St Lawrence Road.
No traffic will be allowed to travel northbound on Old Dover Road between the junction with the New Dover Road at the Old Gate Inn and St Lawrence Road.
There will also be no waiting restrictions.
They will be in force in St Lawrence Road from 10am to 11.30pm on both days of music.
On Old Dover Road they will be in force between the junctions with Ethelbert Road and New Dover Road from 2pm and 11.30pm.
Nackington Road will see them in force at the same times between the junctions with Old Dover Road and The Foreland.

Diversion and information signs will be displayed throughout the area for the days of the concerts.
The shows have become increasingly popular in recent years with thousands of fans descending on the south of the city.
Pubs such as the Cross Keys, The Phoenix and the Old City Bar in the Oaten Hill area become particularly busy on concert days.
