The rail network is being affected by the weather today

Weather playing havoc with rail network

Passengers trying to get to train stations south of Rochester are facing network disruptions today.

Rail operator Southeastern has said trains coming from London are having stop at Rochester, meaning they cannot continue on to stations including Faversham, Canterbury East and Dover.

The problem is that the track at Gillingham is not passable following torrential rain this morning.

Flooding has caused problems for passengers using Herne Bay station today.

The station in Lenham has also been badly affected following the weather.
