A man has been arrested after an incident at the Canterbury Mosque in the early hours of this morning.
Police were called to the Giles Lane building at 2.45am after a report of criminal damage.
Officers discovered a gate and fence had been broken.

A 21-year-old man from Hereford was detained and remains in police custody.
Police spokesman Natalie Hardy said: “Enquiries into the circumstances of the incident are on-going.”
