We are committed to providing balanced, accurate, informed, and ethical journalism as laid out in the IPSO code of conduct.
We do not tolerate abuse of any kind and are vehemently opposed to any discrimination based on ethnicity, religion, gender, sexuality, age or disability. We require all our contributors to adhere to this standard.
This does not mean we shy away from tackling different points of view, however controversial. We endeavour at all times to balance journalistic integrity with the rights of individuals. This can be a difficult task to manage and we may not always get it right.
If you feel that the Canterbury Journal has failed to live up to this promise, please contact us and tell us why.
