Police have arrested a 27-year-old man after a car who smashed into a house.
The incident happened in Fordwich at the junction of the High Street and Well Lane at 11.57pm last night (Friday).
A woman in her 20s was taken to a London hospital with serious chest and internal injuries.
She remains in a serious condition.
Another passenger in the car, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with a wrist injury.
After the crash, the driver of the grey Volkswagen Golf left the scene on foot.
The arrested man from Herne Bay is in custody on suspicion of dangerous driving.
