Paul Hollywood’s lover has spoken of her relationship with the Great British Bake Off star to say their 30-year age gap doesn’t bother her.
Keen horse rider Summer Monteys-Fullam,22, insists that she is “loving life” after meeting the 52-year-old at the Duke William pub in Ickham.
Hollywood, who has a house in Adisham, split from his wife Alexandra last year.
Ms Monteys-Fullam invited journalists from the Daily Mail to photograph her in Canterbury and agreed to discuss her relationship with Cheshire-born Hollywood.
She said: “‘Last November I was emotionally drained – but now I’m loving life.
“I’m fine and I’m enjoying life. I’m not upset. I’m happy. Why should the age gap bother me.
“There are many other people in the world with age gaps, and marriages and kids and everything else and I’m fine.
“I came [into a relationship with Hollywood] way after his marriage ended.”
At the start of the month, it emerged that Hollywood had taken Ms Monteys-Fullam to the Mauritius for a romantic break.
An onlooker said: “They looked extremely happy together. Despite the age gap there was a lot of laughter and staring into each other’s eyes — plus lots of tactile nudges and touches.”
Hollywood, who used to run a bakery in Aylesham, split from his wife Alexandra after 19 years of marriage. They have a teenage son together. Summer and Hollywood are reported to have stayed at a £1,000-a-night villa run by the Four Seasons company.
Summer no longer works at the Duke William. It was reported that she quit her job after photographs surfaced last year showing Hollywood in a Nazi uniform complete with swastika during a party at a Kent pub in 2010.
Hollywood’s ex-wife Alexandra refused to comment when contacted.
