Canterbury’s two Wetherspoons pubs are holding a gin festival later this month.
The 18-day festival at the Thomas Ingoldsby in Burgate and the West Gate Inn in North Lane starts on Thursday, February 14 and will feature 15 different types of gin not previously available in the pubs.
West Gate Inn manager Simon Pitcher said: “The festival will showcase some wonderful gins from across Britain.

“They have not previously been available and I am sure our customers will enjoy drinking them.”
Flavoured gins among the selection with the ingredients including heather, dandelion, juniper, raspberries, vanilla, damsons, blackberries and rose petal.
The festival gins comprise Aber Falls Orange Marmalade Gin, Adnams Copper House Pink Gin, Didsbury Gin Raspberry & Elderflower, Eden Mill Love Gin Liqueur, Greenall’s Wild Berry Gin and The Lakes Damson Gin Liqueur.
All of the gins will be served in a the bulbous Copa de Balon glasses with tasting notes available.
The festival runs until Sunday, March 3. Wetherspoons’ regular variety of 12 gins will be available throughout.
