Expect delays as key arterial road closed for a week

A section of St Stephen’s Road in Canterbury, one of the city’s busiest, will be shut for a week to allow for water repairs.

Kent County Council has authorised the closure from the turning for Malthouse Lane and the St Stephen’s Roundabout.

The closure is due to start on August 4 and is estimated to last one week.

KCC says that due to the nature of the work the road will remain shut overnight and outside of working hours.
