Firefighters were called to the White Horse Inn at Bridge last night.
Crews were called to the historic building in the High Street at 7.45pm after a blaze broke out in a first floor bedroom.
They used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.

The building had been evacuated and there were no reports of casualties.
Crews stood down at just after 8pm.
