Police issue fresh appeal after more damage to cars

Police are appealing for information after receiving more reports of damage to vehicles in Canterbury.

The windows of two cars in St Martin’s Road were smashed overnight Sunday, May 13 into Monday, May 14.

In both instances nothing was stolen.

The suspect is a white man, around 5ft 6in tall who was wearing a grey hooded top.

Anyone who noticed anything suspicious or who has information can call 01843 222289 quoting reference ZY/025717/18.

The attacks are the latest in spate of vandalism and thefts which have been plaguing Canterbury since the start of April.

Police are not necessarily linking the St Martin’s incidents with those which have taken place in the St Stephen’s area.

Meanwhile, more CCTV images have appeared on Facebook showing men looking into cars in Queens Avenue off the Rheims Way.

Residents also report attacks to cars in neighbouring Crown Gardens.
