Police want to speak to man who picked up child

Police have issued a description of a man seen behaving suspiciously in Seasalter.

Officers were called to Faversham Road at 4.20pm on Friday, July 13 after a man lifted up and held a child.

It happened in the presence of others and although no attempt was made to walk away with the child, police want to talk to the man to¬†“establish the circumstances”.

He is described as aged between 40 and 50, white, of a slim build and with a southern accent. He was wearing a blue polo shirt with a red logo on and blue jeans and had a black, long-haired German Shepherd-type dog with him.
