
Travellers have set up camp on the Beverly Meadow in the St Stephen’s area of Canterbury.
Caravans and vans are parked on the side of the field next to the former railway embankment.
Canterbury City Council is aware of the travellers’ presence.

The authority says it has asked them to move on, bit this afternoon the group were showing no signs of moving.
Travellers were last on the field a year ago when around 20 vehicles occupied a part of the field.
A group turned up at the Kingsmead Field last month.
