St Peter’s Grove is one of my favourites streets in Canterbury.
The city’s answer to Coronation Street, it is an assuming quiet straight line of modest terraced homes and not over-populated with students.
But one must ask whether students may well be responsible for the latest messy scene to afflict this pleasant road.
- War on waste: Water refills now available at city council venues
- Growing Kent Vegan Festival is moving to bigger venue
One household has piled its waste up in bags – and then let it spew it contents all over the road.
No attempt to clean it up has been made today.
And at a time when people in every corner of the district are behaving responsibly or even volunteering to clean up the district, sights like this just painful.
They really go to show how the minority ruins it for everyone else.
