The Cheesemakers of Canterbury is hosting a special event to highlight the versatility of one of the nation’s favourite foods.
George Ward, their cheesemonger at The Goods Shed in Station Road West, will discuss how to use various cheeses including cow, goat and sheep varieties.
A selection of small plates will cover starter, main course and dessert recipes and each will be paired with wines and ciders.
George said: “Customers often ask for ideas of how to use our award-winning cheeses, so we decided to hold a taster event. The menu is full of tasty suggestions for the winter months.”
The cheese evening will be held at The Barn, Kingston, starting at 7.30pm on Saturday, October 20. Tickets are £15 a head, available from firstname.lastname@example.org or 07811 831041.
