
Three men have been charged with the rape of a woman in Canterbury.
Sali Amet, 23, of Preston Street in Faversham, Omer Engin, 24, of Hoades Wood Road in Sturry, and Salih Altun, 25, of East Street in Faversham, are accused of assaulting a woman overnight Thursday, April 12 into Friday, April 13.
The attack is alleged to have taken place in the Holman’s Meadow car park between Dover Street and the Old Dover Road.

Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate charged the men yesterday (Sunday).
They appeared in custody at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court today and are next due to appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday, May 21.
